As well as being the recipient of The International Nickel Fellowship, Dr Blakemore was recognized by the Australian Institution of Engineers as being amongst the top 10 Engineers in Australia for Engineering expertise for his contributions to re-engineering businesses and the development and commercialization of new products and processes. In addition, we offer both basic and advanced management programs and workshops focused on methods to increase profit and enhance growth. Blakemore Consulting has also designed customised business improvement programs for the PACIA (Plastics and Chemical Industry Association 450 companies) and authored two books published originally by our own publishing house (MASC Pty. Some of our recent publications are available for download on our Books & Papers page but we would appreciate an email in return. John Blakemore successfully completed a PhD (1969) MSc and BSc. The MSc and BSc were part-time degrees. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Certified Professional Engineer (CPEng) and Director of the Leading Edge Initiatives. In addition he is a FAIM, FAICD, FQSA, FIE Aust and CPEng (UK). John's depth of experience is readily demonstrable. He has previously occupied positions as Marketing Director, Research Manager, Engineering Manager, General Manager, Research Scientist, University Lecturer and was an International Nickel Research Fellow. John is listed in Who's Who in the World for his contribution to International Management Consulting (from 1994). John's PhD was studied for from 1966 to 1969 (2.6 yrs) under an International Research Fellowship. This Doctorate was examined by the University of Leeds (UK) and the Australian Atomic Energy Commission (AAEC) under the supervision of Prof E.O.Hall PhD. Seven international publications resulted from this work. John sat on the Engineering and Manufacturing Committee of the Federal Government's Industrial Research and Development Board from 2000 to 2006. From 1996 to 2000 he also sat on the Board of the Australian Institute of Management and he was an Associate of the Australian Graduate School of Industrial Innovation (AGSEI) from 1996 to 2002.
